Classes

Artistically, my approach is to provide ways in which they realize the body in practice as a site of various creative avenues while cultivating their curiosity, artistic individuality, and the drive for innovation. What I value most in learning is the development of one’s individuality in all of its forms. It includes one’s unique body, lived experiences, and cultural identity.

We will begin with a 10 minute toprock warm-up, then practice foundational footwork steps and freezes. For more advanced bboys and bgirls, the class provides a space to practice individual/group drills. We’ll end the class with an open cypher where you may either freestyle, perform steps learned from class or both! There will be a free open jam session following the end of class.
